Speaking outside the Assembly, Pilot alleged that instead of improving poor school infrastructure, the government is trying to hide its failures by restricting people from entering schools and imposing curbs on photography. He also referred to the High Court’s intervention, claiming that the court has criticised the government and directed authorities to improve school conditions. Pilot questioned the government’s seriousness regarding education, children’s safety and basic facilities. The remarks have intensified the political debate over the quality of government schools and education infrastructure in Rajasthan.
